No one rises to low expectations! That is why Homer Davis is committed to raising expectations and providing a 21st Century learning experience for all students. Our staff is A+ and our first quarter has been a great success. In the first nine weeks of school, Homer Davis is Believing, Achieving, and Succeeding as demonstrated by the following:

• Quality staff! Our staff is committed to raise learning and behavior expectations.
• Over 230 students are participaing in the Skills for Success After-School Program.
• As part of the Days of Caring 2009 program, Homer Davis partnered with several volunteers to build a Desert Tortoise habitat, clean an alleyway of debris, and planted several plants around campus.
• We launched an after-school reading program for kindergarten students working with a classroom teacher and reading specialist.
• Third through sixth grade levels made percentage gains in the amount of students meeting or exceeding the academic standards measured by AIMS.
